FILIGRANE ZEICHENSYSTEME SOLO EXHIBITION HaMBURG

2019

Solo Exhibition

Filigree Drawing Systems (2019 Hamburg)

In my drawings I deal with ornamentation, copying, as well as with repetitions and structures. For this I use architectural floor plans, binary systems and various form fragments: This is about the design and construction of patterns and systems between digitalization and manual intervention. Image realities emerge between figuration and abstraction. These associate utopian structural models. The aim is to explore the calming effect of rituals and repetitions as working environments become increasingly digital. The illusion of topographical orders and plans on the one hand and the delicate recording of a constructed labyrinthine chaos on the other are thefocus of this exhibition.

Served UP

2017

Under the title served uo, young artists and students from Professor Michael Dörner`s class presented small-format works of art on a large- scale installation. The works were self.referntial to the individual artistic positions of the participating artists.

But they also establish interrelationships with each other.

Kunst.Hafen.Walle

2019 2021 2023

The Kunst.Hafen.walle (art.harbor.walle) has been taking place since 2019. The aim is to network Bremen artists in the Walle/Überseestadt district of Bremen. A city in the northern Germany.

Here the artists open their studio doors to the interested public and enter into dialogue.

In 2019 and 2023 I took part in group exhibitions.

In 2021 I opened my studio doors and was happy to have many interesting and interested visitores.

In 2023 I was part of the temporary artist group Tempo 38.

The name refers to the temporary, fleeting nature that inhabits all of us and most artist groups.

And at the same time refers to the temporary exhibition location as well as the busy times in which we live.

The exhibition location is located exactly between the working-class district of Walle and the newly emerging district Überseestadt. An exclusive new district.

In a world like that in Charley Chaplin`s film modern times, which is determined and shaped by rush and exploitation factores, "Tempo 38" invited those watching to pause and be inspired by the fascinating transience that connects us all.
